The main reason for inclusive education is making equal availability of same education curriculum to all types of students despite difference in their learning abilities which may be due to various factors. There are advantages of this inclusive education giving right exposure to all kind of students , enabling interaction between them , helping them understand each other points of view yet work together without letting anybody felt left out at the same time helping other kids to accept these differences and respect them .It develops more than learning skills developing all spheres of intelligence, emotional , social and bringing together different angles of views to a subject. This makes students to respect other cultures and perspectives , focus on others positive abilities , develop empathy and respect for peers thus celebrating diversity and individuality. This becomes more of a teachers responsibility for working on right strategies so that classroom teaching and management runs smoothly at the same time caters to inclusive education.
Simplicity is one way to get across rather than relying on printed text contents having the subject simplified into more understandable and connectable form and giving a view of the content through summarization or concept maps or graphical organizers , makes it easy to understandable and remember .Thus kids with difficulties find it easy to connect when the topic progresses and make the necessary connection.
Using multiple and diverse examples to the topic this can be done by connecting real life examples , prototypes , modelling or planning a STEAM activity , role play .
Helping them brain storm or ask questions or answer based on inquiry to bring their varied knowledge and thoughts about a topic and how what’s being taught will help build their knowledge on the concept. Asking questions from different details , how each concept differs or is similar , why the concept is being learned and ways of application .
Cooperative learning gives students the opportunity to work with others and see different points of view. Students are exposed to and use many skills throughout this strategy: communication, problem-solving skills, cognition, and critical thinking .Here they could be working on a project or task divided into small units where they learn from each other , each has their contribution and knowledge to add to as they work towards task given.
Using different sources of learning from technology like videos or projector , simulation , handhelds like flashcards or charts , Diy activities or boards .Using game based on topics to enable fun and learning or competitive spirit or collaborative learning.
Using different strategies as every child will have his way of getting better to the topic some may need sensory , cognitive , motor skills based activities to connect better to the topic being taught .Designing activities , assignments or course materials that use one or more of these techniques to reach out to more students in the classroom.
Finally using background information and insights from evaluations and practice for formative assessment to change approach and work on weak areas by designing solutions or remedial measures for children.
