Differences

Differences don’t prove you are right
And I am wrong.
It don’t mean somebody is lesser
And the other is superior.

It just means you have travelled where I haven’t been
And I have seen where you haven’t been.

Differences are what make us believe and question,
Beyond what is already known.
Because a lifetime is always less to experience,
Everything the universe holds.

To deny myside is all your right.
That doesn’t mean I wasn’t right.

You hear my side,
If I don’t give an ear ,
We lose sight.

We accept our differences,
Because it is in this,
A hope to rise.

After all there will always be something beyond
The horizon of our sight.
